I've had my kitchen built with Williams Furniture & Cabinets. A Maple Natural finish. It turned out immaculate. The quality is so far beyond what you can "special order" somewhere else and at a good price. He had a full range of drawer styles, cabinet styles, finishes, hardwoods, and hardware. Most of which I chose off his website. I definitely recommend the custom touch of these experienced veterans if your going to drop the money on a new kitchen. The 25+ year experience was evident when I visited the showroom. I know how it goes at a big box store, because I worked there. Shiny displays and out of state (sometimes out of country) cabinets. I chose to keep my money right here in Michigan. I'm very glad I did.
Did a great job on custom cabinets for less than it would have cost for standard at a box store. They were really friendly and seem to have worked with people all over the lower peninsula. Our light maple with light finish are a great alternative to having white cabinets.
They were great...until they got their money.
Just finished a complete kitchen renovation and had Williams to the cabinetry. After shopping 8 different places, including the box stores, Williams gave quality at the best price. The pure white shaker style cabinets are beautiful. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 based on time. The initial install went smoothly, but the finish work (crown, and baseboard molding) took 3-4 extra visits. I do commend Tyler specifically on his professionalism in coming back several times to make sure it was complete. If I have another kitchen renovation to do, I know right where I'm going.
We went with them because their prices were great and they do have high quality stuff. Their customer service is worse than terrible. First, they were missing about 4 items in our original order (which is human) but it took them weeks to complete it and when they did they made the wrong stuff. This went on for about 4 weeks...causing a huge delay in our kitchen remodel. The final piece they said they would make for us we still haven't received...it has been 3 months! They don't return phone calls and have been a serious pain to work with.
Extremely poor customer service. Phone calls were treated as an inconvenience and could not get answers. Cabinets are quite nice however we could have found the same quality elsewhere. There are other cabinet makers in the area, I suggest looking elsewhere.
